Genderless dreams

Trollet has been having these strange dreams.

She was back together with her ex, who was this time a female. When trollet looked at him he was the way he was then but in other peoples eyes he was a female which meant that they were looked upon and treated as a lesbian couple. Trollet had a hard time understanding why others saw him as a woman while Trollet saw him as man. Even his dad was in the dream, saying: ‘ah trollet so now you will go to bed with a women, how does it feel’ but when she entered the bedroom there he was, not very feminine. In the dream she just decided that oh well, male-female, so what, individuals as individuals.

Last night she had a dream that the earth had so many people that not everyone could use a body. Somehow there was an enormous basement where all the bodies were and in the morning the head just asked for a body and a random body appeared. This meant that all the people sleeping and the ones traveling long distance didn’t take much place as only the head was present. This also meant that gender didn’t matter as you always got a random body. The bodies were not genderless but rather that one day you had a female body and the next a males body but it wasn’t something people focused on as the focus was on the head, the mind and the ideas. The focus on the body was completely gone.

Quite an interesting dream. Seems like her work place, department of women’s studies, has had a lot of influence on her dreams..

Sweet dreams! :)
It would be interesting to write an essay about the implications of the second dreams, of swapping bodies, getting a random body. Your post made me happy!
