Saturday Trollet spent at fredu's couch, smoking, drinking coffee, watching movies and playing videogames. What a great day. Just what she needed. Sunday she took along walk in the cold fresh air with that lump that she will from now on call Rufus. Rufus' lumpish friend also came along. The three of them had fun. Silly lumps. Then they had a restaurant looking coffee that Trollet prepared. Monday morning Trollet woke up feeling strange, very cold. Not feeling like a champion, not at all. Neither did Rufus. Trollet went to work, still not feeling good. She worked a few hours until she simply couldn't anymore, so she went to the doctor that stated that she had an eye inflammation + fever. great. She went to the pharmacy and then back home, woke up Rufus and threw herself on the couch. Rufus made her tea all day. It has been a nice day even though they haven't been feeling very well. Trollet might stay home tomorrow as well. She is so incredibly tired and suffering from cold/hot/freezing/burning feeling.
She removed the legs from her bed today. Trollet is content about that. She used to have the bed on the floor for a long time until X had an idea that beds should definitely have legs. Well X isn't here so Trollet's bed will be a legless bed and damn proud of it.
Her legless bed makes her happy but another thing has also made her smile today. They called her today and asked her to come for a second job interview for the job in Benin... Lots of interviews going on. Benin is da shit. So she will really have to convince them to choose her.. Thumbs up. Will be interesting...
Paris...Benin...neither...Turku...Helsinki...unemployed... What road will Trollet end up on?

Chicken soup is da best for cold/hot/freezing/burning feeling... Hope u doin well apart from that and the legless bed & Good luck for Benin :)
Thanks you :) Now i am already well and about to drink some wine!
Craziness.. I actually got both of the jobs, 6months in Benin and 1 year in Paris, so now I have to choose.. But of course I have to choose benin as it has been my dream for a long time. Hopefully I could manage to convince them in paris that I could come for 6 months after benin :D That would be the perfect combination! We shall see. I am off to benin 2nd of january, which is quite soon.
What about you? What are you up to?
Still stuck at home between plaster & paint, catching up on friends I never had time for.. All good really except I'm getting itchy feet again. Hopefully I can squeeze in a few sailboat deliveries before Xmas and my trip to Asia. I should be goin around the same time as you, probably second week in January, the plan is Thailand first where I have to get some diving qualifications done, then... Well then I get lost with no particular return date, God knows where I'll end up... So quite looking forward to it! hehe
Itchy feet, very familiar feeling..
Sounds like the perfect plan, to have to plans! that's the best way to travel. To be open for people you meet, things you see, feelings you have and unexpected events! Are you traveling by yourself?
Kho tao is good for diving ;) Maybe you have been there?Eventhough i am so terribly scarred of the fish so i wouldn't go under just to look at them..aaah, hell no, but kho tao was anyways very enjoyable.
Yes goin there on my own, for the diving part, that is... Have some friends I'd like to visit in the area, maybe travel a bit with them. I rather travel on myself than with friends although it's nice to share the same experience with loved ones, I feel somehow that travellin in a group is like travellin in a bubble, too confortable for me lol. Not sure where I'll be doing the instructors course, I have to look around first, maybe on an express tour of the islands, 'cause Phuket and Pattaya are out of the equation. I wanna head to Laos too when my Thai visa runs out, walk a little for like a month or so... Anyway, just plans now, we'll see what happens when I get there :)
Sounds defenitely like a good plan. I don't like traveling in a group either but i really enjoy traveling with one other person that it works well with. I have always done longer journeys with one and same friend, and it is just great. :) so it all depends on where and with who!
But i can understand what you mean, traveling alone is different, you go where you feel like going and so on. But on the other hand that is the way it can when you travel with someone it works with, you go separate ways for a day or two, a week or two, meet up again, travel some more and do your own things at the same time as you can share things together. Maybe i have just been lucky to find a magnicifient traveling buddy !
Diving in thailand, yup, don't go west, go east! :) Laos, oooh, you make me jealous, i would love to return there. Going up north or?
